Project Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented 3D designer based in the UK for a project involving the 3D modelling of button head bolts in Fusion360.
Project Requirements:
Bolt Variants: The project includes modelling various sizes of button head bolts with the following specifications:
M3 - Lengths: 4/5/6/8/10/12/14/16/18/20/25/30/35/40/45/50
M4 - Lengths: 5/6/8/10/12/14/16/18/20/25/30/35/40/45/50/55/60
M5 - Lengths: 6/8/10/12/14/16/18/20/25/30/35/40/45/50/55/60
M6 - Lengths: 6/8/10/12/14/16/18/20/25/30/35/40/45/50/55/60
M8 - Lengths: 10/12/14/16/18/20/25/30/40/50/60/80
M10 - Lengths: 12/16/20/25/30/40/50/60/80
M12 - Lengths: 20/25/30/40/50/60/80
Unified Head Design Across Bolt Variants: The project includes modelling various sizes of button head bolts. A key simplifying factor is that for each bolt variant (M3, M4, M5, etc.), the head will be exactly the same. This consistency will allow for a quicker design process, where the freelancer will only need to design the head once for each bolt type, and then simply adjust the length and thread length of the bolt for the various specified lengths. This approach will minimize the number of truly unique models and significantly reduce complexity.
Sample Bolts: As a reference, we will send 1 piece of each bolt to the selected freelancer. Therefore, candidates must be based in the UK to receive these physical samples.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency in Fusion360.
Experience in mechanical design, particularly with fasteners.
Attention to detail and ability to create accurate representations of the physical samples.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate and confirm project details.
