3D Modeling for Personal Device Component

I'm currently seeking a proficient 3D modeler/artist to expand and transform my 2D sketch into a detailed 3D model, tailored for 3D printing. I plan to utilize a plastic material to print the model, which will part of a device I'm creating for personal use.
Scope of Work:
- Convert my 2D sketched design to a 3D digital model. Take special care to ensure that the final design retains the original vision of my sketch.
- Prepare the model for 3D printing, ensuring that the design is tailored to my preferred printing material: plastic.
Ideal freelancer skills and experience:
The perfect freelancer for this project will have lots of experience in 3D modeling, particularly with preparing designs for 3D printing in plastic. Freelancers with a background in crafting detailed and functional parts for devices will be given prime consideration, and I'd love to see past work samples that showcase this if you have them. Expertise in an industry-standard modeling software is required, and an ability to ensure my design's smooth transition from 2D to 3D is essential.
