3D Modeling Model Train Car from 2D Drawings, Design For 3D Printing and Laser Cutting Wood/Plastic
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The project will require taking 2D drawings and construct 3D models from them.
Design the components to integrate with each other, where some pieces will be 3D printed, and others laser cut wood or plastic. Larger pieces, such as walls and frames will be laser cut, detail components like trucks and brake components will be 3D printed, possibly casted out of white metal or brass.
I will provide the drawings, and some pictures to help convey the prototype I want modeled. I only uploaded a snapshot of the drawings to convey the project, the drawings will be scanned and uploaded. The truck bogies (the axle sets) do not need to be modeled, I already have a model of them.
If this goes smoothly, I have more train cars and other related things that need to be 3D modeled.
