3D Modeling of Eucalypt Tree Trunks
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I need a proficient 3D modeler to create low resolution meshes of Eucalypt tree trunks and major limbs from point cloud subsets. The scan data is available in either LAZ or RCS formats, with subsets in RCP/RCS format. The eventual model will be incorporated into Revit. I am hoping that the model will be lightweight so that it is easily processed in Revit.
Key Requirements:
- Use Revit for the 3D modeling output.
- Emphasize the overall shape and volume as well as the branching structure in the low-resolution mesh.
- Expertise in modeling deciduous trees, specifically Eucalypts.
- The finished product needs to be a 3d model compatible with the Revit / Autodesk software
- The mesh need not be high res. The models only need to have a location tolerance of 300mm and a surface toerance of 150mm
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in using Revit for 3D modeling.
- Experience in working with point cloud data.
- Strong understanding of tree structure and morphology for accurate modeling.
- Ability to create models that are ready for integration into software like Revit or AutoCAD.
