3D Model Marketplace Website
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
My goal is to launch an online marketplace where creators can upload their own 3D models and buyers can seamlessly preview, purchase, and download them. The site needs to handle user-generated model files end-to-end: account creation, secure uploads, server-side storage, on-page 3D previews, checkout, and automated file delivery.
Upload scope
• Content: 3D models only (no textures or animations at this stage).
• Flow: drag-and-drop uploader with automatic metadata capture (title, description, tags, price).
• Formats: we will finalise the exact list together, but support for the most common industry formats is expected from day one.
Preview requirement
Real-time, in-browser 3D model viewing is essential. A WebGL solution such as Three.js or Babylon.js is preferred so buyers can rotate, pan, and zoom the model before purchase without leaving the page.
Commerce features
• Shopping cart and secure payment gateway integration (Crypto).
• Instant licence file delivery after successful payment and confirmation email.
• Seller dashboard showing sales, earnings, and basic analytics.
Core expectations
• Responsive design that feels snappy on desktop and mobile.
• Clean, documented codebase—frontend framework and backend language are flexible as long as performance and scalability are considered.
• Basic admin panel to moderate uploads, manage users, and issue refunds if needed.
Once live, I’ll test all flows myself; acceptance is complete when an uploaded sample model can be previewed and bought end-to-end without intervention.
