F16 Model Development: 1:1 Scale
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I'm seeking collaboration on developing a 1:1 F16 model. This project involves creating a detailed design suitable for transport, with disassembly planned into 6-10 pieces.
Key Project Aspects:
- Body construction using plywood, similar to RC models.
- Outer body crafted from fiberglass, with a cockpit made of curved, transparent organic glass.
- Metal used for the running gear and supporting structure.
Your Responsibilities:
- Complete frame development.
- Design for lightness without compromising structural integrity.
- Create production files for all parts.
Specifications:
- All measurements in mm and kg (European standard).
- Plywood sheet dimensions of 1250x2500mm must be adhered to.
- Parts should not exceed the plywood sheet size.
- Use of plywood thicknesses: 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 21mm.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in aircraft design and engineering.
- Experience with model aircraft construction.
- Ability to create detailed production files.
- Knowledge of weight optimization techniques.
