Minimalistic 3D CAD Hair Clip Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm seeking an experienced 3D CAD designer to create a mold-ready design for a soft, minimalistic hair clip made from TPU (Shore 90A).
Requirements:
- Thin, visually appealing, yet strong enough to grip women's hair.
- Inner ridges or grooves to hold hair without pulling, pattern/style flexible.
- Flexible hinge or spring mechanism for easy operation.
- Optimized for injection molding: proper split (core and cavity), draft angles, and ~2% shrinkage compensation.
Deliverables:
- Product 3D model
- Mold design (core and cavity)
- Exported files in STEP (.stp) or IGES (.igs) format
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Experience with injection-molded designs
- Strong understanding of material properties, especially TPU
