Mechanical Engineering Task Assistance

Job ID: 40575363

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I’m looking for a qualified mechanical engineer who can step in and complete a specific technical task that sits squarely in the engineering space. The work involves applying core mechanical-engineering principles—sizing components, running stress or thermal calculations, and translating the results into clear CAD models and production-ready drawings.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Review the existing concept notes I’ll share and confirm the assumptions.
• Carry out all necessary calculations (strength, tolerance, materials).
• Create or update 3D models and 2D drawings in a mainstream package such as SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Deliver a concise engineering report that explains the methodology, formulae used, safety factors, and final recommendations.
• Provide native CAD files, PDFs, and any simulation data so the package is fully reproducible on my end.

Acceptance criteria: accurate calculations that align with the design brief, models that open error-free in the stated CAD tool, and documentation clear enough for a third-party reviewer to trace every step.

If this lines up with your expertise and you can commit to fast, responsive communication while we iterate, I’d love to see examples of similar mechanical projects you’ve handled and hear your proposed milestone plan.
