Mechanical Component CAD & Testing

Job ID: 40247197

Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR

I have a mechanical component concept that now needs to be turned into a production-ready design. The scope covers three tightly linked tasks:

• Detailed 3-D modelling of the part in a mainstream CAD package (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA or similar).
• Performance-focused simulation—finite-element or equivalent—to validate strength, fatigue life and any critical thermal or dynamic loads.
• A concise real-world report that interprets the simulation data, recommends the optimum material and finalises the specification for manufacturing.

I’ll supply sketches, key dimensions and the operating load cases the moment we start. You’ll iterate the geometry, run the analyses, and explain the results clearly enough that they can be handed straight to a machinist or supplier.

Deliverables I must receive:
1. Native CAD files plus neutral formats (STEP, IGES).
2. Simulation files and a PDF summary highlighting factors of safety, stress/strain plots and any design tweaks you made.
3. A one-page material selection rationale including standards, grade numbers and sourcing notes.
4. Final 2-D manufacturing drawings with tolerances and surface-finish callouts.

Your proposal should centre on your experience with comparable mechanical components and the simulation tools you intend to use; past work samples are welcome but not mandatory. If everything checks out, I’m ready to move quickly into milestones for modelling, analysis, and final documentation.
