Low Poly 3D Human Character for Game
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I'm looking for an entry-level / Free lance 3D artist to create simple prototype models for a sports video game.
Project: Spike:RE - A real-time team sports game (3v3 arena-based gameplay)
Requirements:
Basic low poly character models (players don't need detailed faces/textures)
Simple arena environment (rectangular field with walls and goals)
Game ball model
All models should be Unity-ready and performance-optimized
Clean, geometric designs are perfectly acceptable - we're in prototype phase
What We Need:
2-3 basic human character models (can be very simple - think stick figures with volume)
Arena field with boundary walls
Two goal areas/nets
Spherical ball model
Basic materials/textures (solid colors are fine)
Ideal Skills:
Basic proficiency in Blender, Maya, or similar 3D software
Understanding of low poly modeling principles
Ability to export to Unity-compatible formats (.fbx, .obj)
Basic UV mapping knowledge (not complex texturing needed)
Perfect for:
Students or entry-level artists looking to build portfolio
Anyone interested in game development pipeline experience
Quick turnaround project (prototype-focused, not final art)
This is a great opportunity for someone starting in 3D game art! We prioritize functionality over visual polish at this stage. Please share any 3D work you've done, even personal projects or school assignments.
Looking forward to working with a motivated beginner!
