Looking for 3D Artist – Rigged Fire Nozzle (VR Ready Skeletal Mesh)
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
Hi there!
I'm working on a VR firefighting simulation and looking for a skilled 3D artist to help bring one key prop to life – a realistic fire nozzle (based on the TFT Handline series). The goal is to create a game-ready, rigged Skeletal Mesh, ready for use in Unreal Engine 5 (but no UE implementation needed on your end).
What I need:
A realistic model with proper proportions
Optimized for real-time VR use (smooth and clear in first-person view)
Final triangle count under 30,000
PBR textures (Albedo, Normal, Roughness, Metallic)
Delivered as FBX with clean hierarchy and pivots
Please triangulate the final model, but use quads while modeling
Rigged / Interactive parts:
These parts should be separate, rigged and ready for Blueprint interaction in Unreal:
Valve handle (horseshoe grip)- acts as a main trigger to open/close water flow
Stream selector ring (fog/stream)
Flow rate control ring
Rotating nozzle head
Game-ready FBX
PBR textures
Clean part names and logical structure
Timeline:
Full delivery: within 30 days
Optional: first preview within 10–14 days
I'm open to milestone-based delivery and flexible communication
Workflow:
I’ll be available for regular feedback and quick replies
Collaboration and previews are encouraged – let's make it smooth and efficient
What I'm looking for:
Someone with experience modeling and rigging mechanical assets
Knowledge of PBR workflows and optimization for VR
Bonus if you’ve worked on interactive props for games or simulators
How to apply:
Please send me:
Your portfolio (especially mechanical/rigged models)
A brief confirmation that the project scope is clear
Your price (fixed or milestone-based)
Your estimated timeline
Any questions you may have
This is part of a larger VR project – if we work well together, there will definitely be more opportunities ahead!
