Lofted Bedroom Area for Sleeping and Play
Budget: $40 – $50 USD
I'm looking to create a lofted area in my bedroom that can serve a dual purpose - as a sleeping space and a play area for children. As such, safety considerations are paramount.
- Ideal Freelancer: A skilled designer and architect with experience in creating lofted areas, particularly in bedrooms. Knowledge of safety regulations for lofted areas is highly advantageous.
The key requirements and considerations for this project are:
- **Sleeping and Play Area**: The lofted area will be used by two people for sleeping, so it needs to be designed to accommodate two beds. Additionally, it should be spacious enough to allow for children to play comfortably and safely.
- **Safety Features**: As the lofted area will be accessed frequently, I consider a sturdy ladder for access as a crucial safety feature. This ladder should be securely attached and be able to support an adult's weight.
- **Weight Capacity**: The lofted area must be designed with the ability to support up to 500 lbs. This weight capacity is non-negotiable for the safety of those using the space.
As a client, I value attention to detail and effective communication. I'm looking forward to working with a professional who can bring my vision to life while prioritizing safety and functionality.
Attached are pictures of the room along with dimensions. You are welcome to recreate the room if needed. The lofted area should be above door height.
