Living Space Extension Design
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m planning to extend the main living area of my home and I need a complete architectural package that takes the project from initial concept through permit-ready drawings. The job is strictly residential and focuses on an extension/addition that blends seamlessly with the existing structure while opening up the lounge and entertainment zone.
The ideal design will maximise natural light, respect current roof lines, and allow for smooth indoor-outdoor flow. I already have a rough idea of the footprint; what I need now is professional refinement, accurate technical documentation, and photorealistic visualization so I can secure approvals and brief my builder with confidence.
Deliverables
• Two or three concept layouts with basic 3D massing
• Finalised floor plan, elevations, and sections in DWG/PDF (AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable BIM format)
• At least three interior and two exterior renders (SketchUp + V-Ray, Lumion, or similar) showing materials and lighting
• A brief specification sheet highlighting structural assumptions and finish suggestions
• A set of drawings that meet local residential building codes and are ready for submission to the permitting office
Please keep the file structure tidy, name layers clearly, and ensure all dimensions are metric. I’ll share existing house plans and site photos once we start so you can model the current conditions accurately.
