Large NiAl-Bronze Propeller for Commercial Vessel
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm in need of an experienced marine engineer, ideally someone who has worked with NiAl-bronze material previously. The task at hand is the construction of a propeller for a commercial vessel I'm working on.
Specifically, the propeller should have a diameter of 29 inches, all dimensions are given including rake, skew, hub diameters etc, with engineering drawings attached. All I need is a model with these correct measurements with blades that can be modified in solidworks. The project in which this is required is to reduce cavitation on the surface of the blades. A NiAl-bronze material is preferred due to its increased strength and corrosion resistance. Hub dimensions are not so important.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Design of NiAl-bronze propeller
- Creation of a large-sized, 29 inch, propeller in solidworks
Skills and Experience:
- In-depth knowledge in marine engineering
- Previous experience in NiAl-bronze propeller design and construction
- Understanding and practice within commercial vessel requirements and standards
- In-depth Understanding of CAD
