LEED Residential Energy & Daylight Analysis

Job ID: 40297626

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Energy analyses and daylight analysesWhen preparing your proposal, we kindly ask you to clearly specify the metrics, deliverables, and scope assumptions as outlined below.
1. Daylight Modeling –
Requested Metrics & Deliverables Metrics
• sDA300/50%: overall project values and, if required, values for critical zones (percentage values + plan-based maps)
• ASE1000,250: overall project values and critical zones (percentage values + plan-based maps)
Deliverables:
• sDA and ASE heatmaps overlaid on floor plans (per floor)
• Summary of “passing / failing areas” (table by floor / zone)
Assumptions to be documented:
• Climate file used
• Workplane height
• Interior surface reflectance values (ceiling / walls / floor)
• Glazing visible light transmittance (VLT) Shading or blind scenarios
• Surrounding masses / topography (if applicable)

2. Energy Performance Modeling –
Requested Metrics & Deliverables:
Baseline vs. Proposed Design Comparison
• EUI (kWh/m²·year)
• Total annual energy consumption (kWh/year)
• Fuel breakdown (electricity / natural gas / others)
• End-use breakdown (HVAC, lighting, equipment, domestic hot water, etc.)
Percentage improvement / energy savings compared to the baseline scenario (in line with LEED reporting)
Additional outputs:
CO₂e emissions (kgCO₂e/year)
At least 2–3 Energy Conservation Measure (ECM) scenarios, such as:
• Envelope improvements (U-value / SHGC)
• Lighting load and control strategies
• HVAC alternatives
Each scenario should include EUI and energy savings impact.
Expected Reporting / Format Comprehensive PDF report suitable for sharing with the LEED consultant and project team
Visual outputs (plan-based maps), tables, and a clear list of modeling assumptions Model files, if applicable
Information Requested in Your Proposal :
Please include the following information in your proposal:
• Scope and methodology (software to be used + standards/guidelines followed)
• Required input data / file list expected from our side
• Estimated schedule and number of revisions included Itemized pricing (Daylight / Energy / Optional services separately)
• Relevant references from similar LEED v4.1 residential projects (if available)
If needed, I would be happy to share the current drawings/models and basic project information to support the proposal preparation.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.
