Kinetic Structure Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a designer to create a kinetic work that incorporates mechanical elements. The work can either be a functional product or an aesthetic sculpture.
Requirements:
- Use of natural energy (wind, solar, or water) for movement
- Static equilibrium on the ground
- Simulation of static structure using Truss-me or similar
- Simulation of kinematic structure using Linkage Simulator or similar
- Drawing must include:
- Labeled structural elements and concepts with arrows
- Clear and understandable labels
- Brief notes if necessary
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency in structural design software
- Experience with kinetic art or mechanical design
- Strong drawing and labeling skills
Please provide examples of previous work if possible.
