Job Title:
Architect Needed for G+1 Kerala Contemporary House Design (2600 Sq. Ft)
​Project Overview:
I am looking for an experienced architect or draftsman to design a G+1 residential building on an East-facing plot in Kerala. The design must adhere to a specific "Kerala Contemporary" style (flat roof with box elevations) and fit within a strict 2600 sq. ft. limit.
​Site Details:
​Plot Orientation: East Facing.
​Plot Dimensions: Total depth 47.8m x Frontage 12.4m.
​Build Area: We are restricting the construction footprint to the front portion of the plot (approx. 12.4m width x 14m depth).
​Constraints: The plot has a "jog" (step) in the boundary further back, but the house will be built in the rectangular front section. Setbacks on sides 1.2m and front setback 3m.
​Design Requirements:
​Style: Modern / Kerala Contemporary (Flat roof, box elevation, use of texture/grooves).
​Total Area: Maximum 2600 Sq. Ft.
​Structure: Ground + 1 Floor.
​Room Configuration:
​Ground Floor: Car Porch, Sit-out, Formal Living, Dining Hall with Patio access, Open Kitchen + Work Area, 2 Bedrooms with attached baths.
​First Floor: Upper Living, Balcony, 2 Bedrooms with attached baths, Open Utility Terrace.
​Specifics: Open kitchen concept, "Charupady" seating in sit-out, dining area opening to a side patio/garden strip.
​Deliverables Required:
​2D Floor Plans: Detailed dimensions for Ground and First floor.
​Furniture Layout: To visualize space usage.
​Front Elevation (3D): High-quality rendering of the East-facing exterior.
​CAD File: The source file (.dwg) for the contractor.
​Ideal Candidate:
​Experience with Kerala tropical home designs.
​Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/3ds Max, and rendering software.
​Ability to provide a portfolio of similar modern flat-roof designs.
