Industrial Water Meter Test Bench 3D Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
3D Design for Custom Water Meter Test Bench (Industrial Equipment)
We are seeking an experienced mechanical or industrial designer to create a detailed 3D design for a custom water meter test bench used in a government facility. The design will be used for visualization, manufacturing planning, and future procurement.
Design a 3-line parallel water meter test bench that accommodates different water meter sizes:
Line 1: DN15 (½ inch) and DN20 (¾ inch) – must hold up to 20 meters
Line 2: DN25 (1 inch)
Line 3: DN40 (1½ inch) and DN50 (2 inch)
Lines 2 and 3 do not need to fit 20 meters but must be the same physical size as Line 1 to ensure uniformity in the design.Water enters through a main flow regulator, then is distributed into the 3 lines through valves.
*Reference photos of our current 2-line bench (which only tests DN15 and DN20) will be provided for guidance.
Each line must include:
*A flow regulator
*Electromagnetic flow meter
*Pressure and temperature sensors
*Optical reader for mechanical meters
*Independent drain line back to the tank
Include a central control unit (PLC/HMI) in the layout, with operator access.
The system must allow the user to operate any of the lines independently or simultaneously.
Deliverables:
Full 3D design (e.g., STEP or SolidWorks format), Labeled components, Basic rendering or schematic views
