Industrial Material Handling Machine Design - 08/10/2025 07:35 EDT

Job ID: 39862203

Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR

I need a full mechanical design for an industrial material-handling machine that will safely transfer heavy loads between workstations on a production floor. I already have basic performance targets—payload up to 800 kg, repeat positioning within ±2 mm, and continuous operation on a two-shift schedule—but no detailed drawings. Your job is to turn these requirements into a build-ready package.

The work begins with concept development: selecting or inventing the best handling mechanism, outlining the overall envelope, and confirming clearance paths. Once the concept is approved you will create a complete 3-D model (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) and run the necessary strength and safety checks. Typical analysis may include static FEA on the frame, deflection calculations on lift arms, and a simple motion study to confirm cycle time.

When the virtual prototype meets all specifications, I will need:

• Native CAD files plus neutral formats (STEP, IGES)
• Detailed 2-D fabrication drawings with tolerances and welding symbols
• A concise bill of materials including commercial components
• Assembly and maintenance notes aimed at a shop-floor technician

All files must be clear enough for a fabricator to quote and build without further clarification. If you have prior experience with cranes, gantries, or automated pallet movers, please highlight it—familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 3691-5 or OSHA regulations is a definite plus.

I am ready to provide quick feedback and move through milestones rapidly; let me know your estimated timeline from concept sketch to final drawing set.
