Industrial Locking system CAD Redesign
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a seasoned industrial CAD designer to re-engineer an existing mechanical lock. The current mechanism performs adequately, but I want a cleaner internal layout, tighter tolerances, and easier manufacturability without sacrificing strength.
You will start from my hand sketches, photos, and basic dimensions, then produce a fully-parametric 3D model along with updated 2D drawings ready for machining. Please integrate standard off-the-shelf components wherever practical so replacement parts remain affordable and widely available.
Key points you should address:
• Smooth, reliable operation for frequent daily use
• Robust housing that resists tampering and harsh industrial environments
• Simple assembly sequence that minimises specialised tools
Deliverables
• Native CAD files (SolidWorks or similar) plus neutral STEP/IGES exports
• Exploded view drawing with part numbers and material call-outs
• Tolerance-controlled manufacturing drawings suitable for CNC and casting
• Short design report highlighting critical stresses and recommended materials
