Industrial-Grade ABS 3D Printing
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm in need of a skilled 3D printing professional capable of creating functional parts with high durability and resilience.
Specifically, I have a completed self-contained device, and I need to 3D print an industrial/Marine grade case for it. Embedded in the case needs to be 2 strong magnets for mounting. The case design is basic; a small rectangular box in two pieces (top and bottom) with a wedge angle on the bottom side. The 2 pieces need to connect together securely with the device inside in it. I have a prototype made out of aluminum for a reference. Case size is roughly 8 inches x 4 inches x 2 inches.
NDA's will need to be signed and if of quality we will need hundreds of these cases. This initial project is to complete one unit first to test.
Key Requirements:
- Expertise in 3D printing of functional parts
- Proficient in using ABS material or comparable material for impact resistance.
- Understanding and ability to create parts with high impact resistance, heat resistance, and tolerance to low amplitude but high frequency vibrations.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience with industrial-grade 3D printing
- Strong background in mechanical engineering or related fields
- Proven track record of creating high-quality, resilient 3D printed parts
