High-Precision SolidWorks Expert: Micro-Tool Design with Magnetic Coupling

Job ID: 40450312

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Overview:
I am seeking a SolidWorks Expert with a background in Mechanical Engineering to design a high-precision micro-tool system. The project consists of an ergonomic handle and a set of interchangeable, curved micro-probes featuring a magnetic quick-release interface.
Technical Specifications:
The Probes: 3 variations of curved micro-blades.
Radii: 7.6mm, 7.8mm, and 8.0mm.
Dimensions: Constant thickness of 0.18mm and a width of 4.5mm.
Tip Geometry: The leading edge must be tapered and fully blunt/rounded (0.05mm radius). It must be designed for delicate separation of layered materials without piercing or scratching.
Finish: Mirror Polish (Ra 0.02) is required for zero-friction manipulation.
Magnetic Interface: The handle must include an internal socket for a neodymium magnet. The probe base requires a mechanical alignment key (Hexagonal or D-shape) to ensure fixed orientation while allowing for a safety break-away under lateral stress.
Material: Optimized for Titanium Grade 5 manufacturing.
Deliverables:
Full SolidWorks source files (Part & Assembly).
High-precision STEP files optimized for CNC and Wire EDM.
2D Technical drawings (PDF) with micron-level tolerances and material callouts.
Requirements:
Expertise in SolidWorks is mandatory.
Background in Precision Engineering or Micro-mechanics.
Ability to sign an NDA
