Herringbone Tile Layout & Cuts
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have an architectural drawing in DVG format and I want a complete tiling plan produced from it. The space will be laid in a herringbone pattern, so I need you to translate the drawing into a clear, scaled layout that shows every tile position and all cut pieces.
Your work should cover:
• A dimensioned layout plan in herringbone, referenced to the room’s datum lines.
• A cutting schedule that labels each cut tile on the plan and states its exact size and angle.
• A tile take-off summarising the total number of full tiles, cut tiles and wastage allowance, broken down by tile type or colour if more than one is used.
Please use CAD software that can read my DVG file (AutoCAD, BricsCAD or similar) and return the final drawing in both the native format and PDF for easy viewing. An Excel or CSV summary of quantities will complete the package.
