Handheld Arcade Game Reader Enclosure Design - 19/06/2024 11:48 EDT
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I am looking for an expert with proficiency in 3D plastic design, particularly with enclosures for electronic devices. Our current Credential Reader is bult around a 4.3 inch LCD screen and is large compared to competitors products. We are wanting some concepts for a new reader built around a 4.3 inch lcd or a 2.8 inch lcd that is as small as possible, and looks cool. These concepts need to be printable, and be able to be 3d printed so we can give samples to customers to get their feedback. Our readers are mounted on various arcade games or entrances to party rooms, etc.
Ideal Skills Include:
- Strong experience in 3D CAD design.
- Prior experience with plastic electronics enclosure projects
- A keen eye for aesthetic and functional design
Project Deliverables:
- Prototype 3D designs of a plastic enclosure for an Arcade Game reader. Two of a 4.3 inch LCD version, and two of a 2.8 inch LCD version.
- The concept designs should be aesthetically pleasing while maintaining functionality
- Initial Deliverable would be color sketches of concepts, followed by 3d printable .stl files so CORE can print samples.
Initial designs do NOT need to be production ready. Just want illustrations of possible reader cases and after picking out what we like, get .stl files that we can 3d print with abs or pla plastic. We want to query our customers to see what they think our next gen readers should look like. Want something "sleek and modern" looking.
