I already have an HTML file and a design image of the interface for a 3D globe-based social platform.
Now I need a developer who can make it fully functional and real-time, where each user’s profile avatar appears at their live location on a rotating 3D globe — similar in look and feel to Google Earth with social features.
You are free to use any technology, framework, or library (WebGL, Three.js, Babylon.js, Cesium, custom engine, etc.) as long as the final globe looks realistic and performs smoothly in a web browser.
Core Features to Implement:
3D Globe Interface: Create a smooth, interactive 3D globe with realistic satellite imagery or texture.
User Avatars on Locations: Display circular avatars or icons at each user’s latitude/longitude.
Real-Time Updates: The globe should refresh positions live (via geolocation + database or socket).
Interactive Avatars: Hover to view tooltip with user name; click to open profile details.
Backend Integration: Use any real-time solution (Firebase, WebSockets, Supabase, or your own backend) to sync users.
Smooth Controls: Auto-rotation, zoom in/out, and click-drag navigation like Google Earth.
User Cleanup: Remove users automatically when they disconnect or close the page.
