Game-changing Safe Home Supportive Housing Units Design(s)

I (very) recently accepted a Board Chair position of a small, emerging California community organization committed to changing the worldwide view of California as America's leader in homelessness into world leader in combatting homelessness and producing cost-efficient, "safe home housing" solutions. Instead of using terms like "emergency housing", "homeless shelter", "tiny homes", etc., we prefer to brand the term "supportive housing" and we want a housing concept that's equally as innovative - worthy of 21st century human advancement.

I am seeking an inspired architectural professional willing to take on the challenge of conceptualizing a 21st century home-building solution designed for providing carefully crafted, durable housing for poor, at-risk humans. A design/solution that is innovative, green, lean, and alternative enough to merit world-class recognition.

Our initial project site is expected to be erected in the Antelope Valley area of California, at an initial start-up cost of approximately $1.2mil. It is anticipated to house a minimum of 10 single occupant units and a community building area capable of accommodating a cafeteria, recreation, and booth space for multiple visiting community resource organizations (but, all of this is yet negotiable). Our goal however, is to develop a project model that duplicatable and would be attractive to other communities confronting shelter challenges.

My hope is to design "supportive housing units" that can be safely prefabricated somewhere on or near the facility which would allow me to utilize the prefabrication production phase as a sustainability component of the safe home housing overall business model. I also really like the idea of this being able to offer income generating opportunities to future participants that could include possibly deeding to them one of the supportive housing units they helped to build!

I am new at seeking help in this way. Yet, I am well known for my 'hustlers rule number one' and I intend to convince the architect(s) we work with of this as well. This rule is - EVERYBODY MUST GET PAID! I want to help pay and promote one of the next great, world-class architects.
