About the Group
We are looking for a freelance 3D or AutoCAD designer to support the design and prototyping of compact plastic accessories for children's toys.
These accessories are used in everyday interactive scenarios, helping to enhance children’s learning and play experiences through audio devices or tech-enabled toys.
The ideal candidate has experience in product design for 3D printing, with a mindset that balances aesthetic appeal, functionality, and child-friendly safety. The designer should be capable of producing precise technical drawings suitable for manufacturing or prototyping.
Job Description:
The Designer is responsible for:
Collaborate with the development team to generate ideas and design accessories based on real user needs.
Create 3D models and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent design software.
Optimize designs for 3D printing or injection molding.
Provide files in the appropriate format for prototyping and production.
Receive feedback from the team and users, and make design adjustments as needed.
As an Designer, it would be beneficial if you have the following skills and experience:
Proficient in 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, etc.
Strong understanding of mechanical design for small-scale products, especially household items or children's toys.
Experience in designing for 3D printing is a strong plus.
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and proactively respond to feedback and improve designs.
Basic to intermediate English communication skills to work remotely and clearly understand requirements.
