Exterior Design for Modern Rustic Cottage
Budget: $50 – $100 AUD
I’m looking for a visual design of a small, two-storey modern rustic cottage. The focus is solely on the exterior design, with no need for interior layouts or precise site measurements. The deliverables should include:
- Realistic 2D and 3D renderings of the cottage.
- Visuals showcasing materials such as wood, stone, brick, and metal accents to achieve a cohesive modern-rustic look.
The design should capture the essence of clean geometry paired with natural textures while maintaining a traditional pitched roof with wide eaves. This is purely for visualization purposes at this stage.
Attaching some photos of the actual site and the existing cottage as well as some images to give you an idea on things similar to what I want:
- In the actual photos of the site, it's the smaller building. Ermide11.jpg file shows the current cottage from the road side. As it's on a slope, there is actually another level below ground level that is visible from the other side. I'd like to stick with a similar style with some changes:
1. Upper floor to be larger than how it is. So, the upper floor should extend much further to have a comfortable space.
2. I'd like to maintain the pitched roof with flat and wide eaves.
3. You will see from the other photos that there is a further below ground level made out of stone, used to accommodate poultry, lamb, etc... I'd like to maintain the stone structure as is.
- I need a staircase (I prefer metal), from the outside connecting to an added balcony on the upper level overlooking the views that's on the other side of the cottage. The photo of the actual view has been attached.
Need your creativity on the rest, combination of materials, layout of the windows door, staircase, flow of the floor, and overall compatibility to the environment.
