Enhance Carburetor Intake Hat 3D Model
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My project is a redesign of a carburetor intake hat, specifically targeting issues in its current design and function. The improvements should:
- Rectify the functionality issues related to airflow and structural strength. The current model has difficulty with efficiency and the strength around the bolt location causing it to be less effective than required.
- Increase the airflow rate, assuring that the intake hat allows more air to pass through at a faster rate.
- Enhance airflow distribution, making sure the air passing through is evenly distributed throughout the carburetor.
- Reduce turbulence. The design should ensure a smoother airflow, reducing disturbances and inefficiencies.
- Strengthen the attachment point. The intake hat needs to be structurally sound to resist mechanical stresses, particularly at the bolt locations.
I'm seeking a professional with extensive experience in 3D modeling and a strong understanding of fluid dynamics, preferable with a mechanical engineering background. A successful freelancer will have knowledge in designing auto parts ensuring accurate, effective, and efficient functionality. Proficiency in a state-of-the-art 3D modeling software will be crucial to accommodate precise alterations to the existing design. I look forward to your innovative solutions to tackle these challenges.
The current work has been done in Fusion 360, which also includes a mockup of the top of the carburetor, in the correct direction the hat must sit. The dimensional shape of the some parts is important, Please get with me on what does not change.
