3D Artist Job Duties:
1. Ability to understand and handle Architectural CAD Drawings.
2. Capable of modeling projects from minimum sketches, supervision and coordinate independently with architects and third parties when required.
3. Provide efficient modeling and converting of data sets from CAD or other 3D modeling packages.
4. Work on Architectural 3D Modeling, Unwrapping, Texturing, Lighting, Camera Animation, Rendering on Visuals and Walk-through projects.
5. Basic understanding of creating and using blueprints in an Unreal Engine scene
6. Ability to create extremely photo realistic Interior, Landscape Visuals and Animation using Unreal Engine.
7. Undertake 2D image compositing, finishing and retouching operations on 3D renderings.
8. Well knowledge and brilliant eye for detail in Post-Production to enhancing visuals/walk-through using Photoshop, After Effects, Lightroom, Nuke or similar software.
9. To be a part of and mentor a well-trained & technically sound 3D team
10. Improve the photorealism of new and existing projects for our customers.
11. Explore new technologies (both hardware and software) to expand ILG’s services, improve the quality of visualizations and increase efficiency. This is likely to include new rendering engines, pipelines and assets, as well as emerging trends such as virtual reality.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
1. At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a creative environment; preferably with a graduate level qualification or equivalent
2. A portfolio of high quality graphical work produced in a professional environment
3. Experience within an architectural practice and advantage, but not essential
4. An interest in art/architecture and an understanding of design principles is critical.
5. Experience of photography, illustration or hand drawing is beneficial, but not essential.
6. Experience of creating imagery with a pictorial sensibility is beneficial, but not essential.
7. Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, composition and visual narrative
8. Possess and communicate strong technical knowledge on the production of images and Illustrations
