Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I am looking for a skilled drywall contractor to provide a quote for my laneway house project. The ideal candidate should have experience working with regular drywall and be able to provide a detailed estimate for the job.
All drywall work indicated on the Contract Documents or as required to complete the Project to the approval of Authorities Having Jurisdiction and the Construction Manager.
Details of the scope are outlined but not limited to the following:
Supply and install ½ inch drywall throughout house except where noted otherwise
Supply and install DenShield drywall for all tub and shower surrounds
Supply and install ½ inch sag resistant drywall for ceilings
Supply and install 5/8 type x drywall for partition and fire rated walls
All drywall is to be screwed (not nailed), finished with smooth texture and minimum 3 coats of compound ready for paint
All drywall scrap is to be removed from site; floors to be scrapped and swept
1 touch up upon completion of primer and before application of paint
All bay windows are to be completed as drywall returns
All drywall returns are to be completed with tear away finishing
Ceiling drops are to be handled with care and adequate time spent to ensure straightness and square installation of drywall and corner beads.
Any scaffolding required to complete the scope and perform inspections is at the responsibility of the drywall contractor.
