Design me a 3D printer.
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I have modeled an FDM 3D printer concept in Solidworks and currently have patent pending. I am looking for someone experienced in desktop or consumer 3D printer design who can review the concept and determine first, if it would have any improvements over existing designs such as CoreXY, Bed Slinger, Delta, etc, and second, if it is mechanically feasible. An estimate for this review service would be the first step.
If the review is favorable, then an estimate for a dimensionally correct Solidworks model to be used for prototyping would be next. Since this is currently in the conceptual stage, mechanical modifications may be necessary and would need to be included in this part of the two part estimate.
