PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I need a mechanical engineer to design a simple and robust electric press machine to make flour tortillas (300 mm diameter). This type of machine is common in Mexico.
The machine is a manual press with heated plate and temperature control.
Design must be simple, strong, and low cost, ready for manufacturing in Mexico.
Must use SolidWorks.
Mechanical design must include:
Steel frame structure
Manual lever press
Heated top plate (300 mm)
Bottom fixed plate
Simple and robust design
Easy and low cost manufacturing
Electrical design must include:
110V power input
PID controller (REX-C100 or similar)
SSR relay (SSR-25DA)
Thermocouple type K or PT100
Heater 1000–1500W
Basic wiring diagram
Use low cost and easy to find components.
Required deliverables:
SolidWorks files (.SLDPRT, .SLDASM)
STEP file
2D drawings (PDF)
Electrical schematic
BOM (Bill of Materials)
Experience required:
SolidWorks
Machine design
Mechanical engineering
Basic electrical design
Final goal:
Complete design ready for manufacturing.
