Design Heavy-Duty RC 6x6 Components

Job ID: 39714976

Budget: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000 INR

I’m scratch-building a high-torque, off-road RC 6×6 and I need a mechanical designer who can take my rough sketches and turn them into production-ready parts. The focus is drivetrain efficiency, so every decision—gear ratios, bearing selection, shaft diameters—has to squeeze out wasted power while still surviving the abuse an electric power-plant can deliver.

Scope
• Axles: Portal or straight designs that clear large tires.
• Suspension: Articulated system (Leafspring suspension ) tuned to keep all six wheels planted.
• Drivetrain: transfer cases, dogbones, driveshafts, and mounting plates engineered specifically for an electric setup.
The truck will be driven onterrain, meaning it must cope with a constantly changing mix of obstacles, so strength and serviceability matter as much as weight.

I’ll provide wheelbase, motor specs, and intended battery pack size. You bring CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar), FEA to prove the parts won’t twist under stall torque, and a knack for designing parts that can be CNC-machined or 3D-printed in metal.

Deliverables
1. Native CAD files + STEP outputs
2. Dimensioned 2D drawings suitable for a machine shop
3. Bill of materials with suggested alloys or composites
4. Brief validation report showing load cases and safety factors

If you’re comfortable turning complex, multi-axle concepts into bullet-proof reality, let’s talk design tolerances and timelines.
