Custom Plastic Casing for Tablet & Projector (3 Conceptual Designs, 1 Full Design)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm in need of a bespoke plastic casing designed to hold a Samsung Galaxy Tab in landscape orientation alongside a portable mini projector.
Key Requirements:
- The casing needs to securely accommodate a Samsung Galaxy Tab, specifically in landscape orientation.
- It should also house a portable mini projector, ensuring both devices are held securely.
- The material must be durable yet lightweight, typical of plastic casing.
- Design must consider ventilation and heat dissipation for both devices during usage.
- Aesthetically pleasing design, as well as functional, is a plus.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in product design and CAD software.
- Previous experience with creating custom electronic casings.
- Understanding of heat dissipation and ventilation design.
- Ability to balance durability and weight in design.
- Strong aesthetic design sense.
Please provide examples of previous similar projects in your proposal.
We expect that 3 conceptual designs will be provided. One of these will be selected for a full design. We expect that several iterations of the full design will take place before the project is accepted. The full design should include CAD drawings, specification of material, manufacturing or prototyping details that would be sufficient for 3D printing/manufacturing.
Other Detail
(Autocad drawing or NX (by Siemens) .dwg (drawing) or .dxf (2D) and the final product will be manufactured using Injection Molding and will need to have 1 to 2-degree Draft Angle)
Will need to provide clear dimensions and incline angel.
Include holes for cables, power outlets.
Internal shelf to fix the projector.
Possible 2mm Shelf to hold the tablet.
