The trailer must meet Australian Design Rules (ADR) and relevant compliance standards while incorporating the following specifications and requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Design a trailer with 2000L and 3000L tank capacity options, fabricated from 7-gauge (4.5 mm) steel, featuring 3 full-height offset baffles.
Develop a robust 150 x 50 mm RHS frame to ensure structural integrity for full-load operations.
Integrate tandem rocker suspension and ADR-compliant axles for smooth towing and load balancing.
Include leak-proof testing and ensure compliance with ADR braking and lighting standards.
Ensure the trailer’s functionality for diverse applications, including mining, construction, and agriculture.
Collaborate with suppliers and source ADR-compliant components like hubs, baffles, and axles.
Deliverables:
Detailed CAD designs, including frame, tank, and axle systems.
Engineering drawings suitable for manufacturing.
Bill of Materials (BOM) with supplier recommendations.
Compliance documentation for Australian Standards and ADR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
