Custom Aluminum Dog Box Design
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I'm looking for a skilled designer to create a custom "Dog Box" for the Ram TRX 2024. The primary purpose of this Dog Box is storage and containment, and it will feature two compartments.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience in designing custom storage solutions
- Proficiency in working with aluminum
- Familiarity with automotive accessories and modifications
- Strong CAD skills or similar design software

Quote to include:
• Designer to source and download 2023 RAM TRX Scanned CAD for exact measurements (ensure this includes RAMBAR) – build into your quote
• To review and adopt sketch (where applicable) – I will supply a simple PDF sketch
• 5 Reviews: to include materials, measurements, fit, colour etc.
• Final export; CAD, Solid Edge, plans PDF (1 page for view), Render for cover page
Design:
• Construction: Two part with removal lid (Mold around Rambar)
• Part 1: Lid with an opening door each side (driver and passenger sides)
• Part 2: Base, with divider and 2x front facing opening doors
• Frame: Welded aluminium box SHS 40x40x3mm (main frame)
• Note: Fastening to bed rails (include easy clip recommendation)
• Bars: Welded aluminium tube Round 30x3mm (50mm spacing approx..)
• Floor: 3mm Perforated Aluminium Decretive
• Frame Sides and Rear: Mold around wheel arches and up the tub wall, clad with 3mm Perforated Aluminium Decretive
• Joins: Wedge joins - no open ends exposed
• Colours: Powder Coat
• Alu Box: Satin Black
• Perforated Plate: RAM Delmonico Red
• 40x3mm Tube: RAM Delmonico Red
