Create a simple repeating decorative ring model for 3D printing (STL)
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I need a simple 3D model created based on a reference image of a decorative circular trim.
The object is a repeating ornamental pattern that forms a full ring. I only need the pattern recreated and arranged around the circle.
2D Reference image attached.
Image attached of the chandelier the 3d printed ring will be attached to.
Dimensions
Overall ring diameter: 520mm
Band width: 42mm (may change to 50mm) will update asap
Relief depth: 5mm minimum – 10mm maximum
The design should have a slight dome across the width of the band
Important
The pattern should be evenly repeated around the full circle.
The final model should then be split into 8 equal curved sections so each section can be 3D printed separately.
Deliverables
STL file of the full ring
STL files of the 8 curved segments
Notes
The design does not need to be perfectly identical to the reference, but should be extremely similar stylistically. Dimensions are a non negotiable have to be correct.
The model should be clean and suitable for 3D printing.
No textures required – just geometry.
