Create an interactive VR system with VR headsets of Royal Pavilion
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
This project is a VR aimed project whereby a virtual system is created and will be made for VR headsets, controllers and potentially a treadmill too.
Use photogrammetry for the 3D modelling and create an interactive virtual reality system that can be viewed and works on VR headsets. It should be a VR system coded on a game engine and work appropriately with controllers.
The main scope of this system is you as the person who puts the headset on starts in a well lit room with a whiteboard that has the picture of the Royal Pavilion. The person then grabs the picture and it transports them to the Royal Pavilion in Brighton and Hove. They can see the exterior of the building as well as the setting outside and can go inside and have a look around. The person can have a 360 view of the interior and can go back outside and get transported back to the well-lit room.
That is the system in essence. It should make use of cameras, movement and understand the virtual aspect of using controllers to transport back and forth and move forwards.
This is aimed at someone who has VR headsets and a treadmill with them to test and play with this system that they can send back to me.
