Create Low-Poly 3D Models for AR Historic Tour
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
3D Modelling for Hill of Tara AR Tour – Low Poly GLB Models
**Project Description:**
We are looking to hire a skilled freelance 3D modeler to create four (4) low-poly 3D models of historic features from the **Hill of Tara**, Ireland. These models will be used in an augmented reality (AR) mobile tour, so optimization and performance are key.
**Scope of Work:**
Create 3D models of the following elements:
1. **The Stone of Destiny (Lia Fáil)** – with a weathered, realistic look (including moss, cracks, and texture detail).
2. **Cormac's House (Teach Cormaic)** – a wooden ringfort house with thatched roof and simple timber textures.
3. **The Palisade** – a wooden perimeter fence structure of tree trunks.
4. **Walkway Decorations** – festive bunting and tree trunks to line the ancient ceremonial walkway.
**Requirements:**
* Low polygon count suitable for **mobile AR applications**.
* Models must be accurately **scaled to match their real-world positions using Google Maps data** (e.g. GPS coordinates or reference overlay).
* Deliverables in **GLB file format**.
* Must be unwrapped and textured (textures can be simple but should evoke natural materials).
* Realistic proportions and layout, informed by historical references and site photographs (references will be provided).
**Bonus (not required but appreciated):**
* Experience working with historical reconstructions or heritage sites.
* Familiarity with optimization for AR.
**Timeline:**
We are aiming to complete the project within 14 days.
**Budget:**
Please submit your proposal with a quote based on the 4 models and a portfolio of relevant work.
