Convert E57 Point Cloud to DWG
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I will provide an E57 point-cloud capture of an existing building and need it translated into a clean, well-layered DWG that can be opened directly in AutoCAD for architectural plan production. The drawing must accurately reflect the scan geometry and be organised on logical architectural layers so I can jump straight into drafting floor plans, elevations and sections without additional cleanup.
To help me choose, please attach a sample of past point-cloud to DWG work that shows your usual level of detail and annotation standards. If you normally use tools such as Autodesk Recap, CloudCompare or similar for registration and AutoCAD, BricsCAD or Revit for drafting, let me know—it speeds our hand-off.
Deliverables
• One DWG file referenced to the original scan coordinates
• All walls, slabs, openings and major structural elements traced with ≤ 5 mm deviation from the cloud
• Layers named logically (e.g., A-Wall, A-Door, A-Window) and free of duplicate geometry
Once I confirm the file opens and dimensions check out against spot measurements from the scan, the job is complete.
