I have an existing website that sells complete audio-visual solutions, and I want visitors to design their own package online. I’ll share a working sample you can reference, but I need a cleaner, faster version built from scratch and embedded seamlessly into my site.
Core features
• Item selector: users pick components from a predefined catalogue while viewing high-resolution product images and a gallery of finished setups for inspiration.
• 3D preview: as items are chosen the tool renders an interactive room-layout diagram, letting users reposition screens, speakers and furniture in real time.
• Cost calculator: every selection instantly updates an on-screen tally, displaying both the running total and a full line-item breakdown before checkout.
Technical expectations
– The configurator must load quickly on desktop and mobile, with responsive controls.
– All data (prices, SKU details, images) should be editable via a simple JSON or CMS hook so my team can update the catalogue without coding.
– Output should be embeddable through a lightweight script tag and play nicely with popular CMS platforms.
– Please deliver clean, well-commented code plus a brief hand-off guide covering installation, data updates and styling hooks.
