Complex SolidWorks Part Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a seasoned SolidWorks expert to take a complex, multi-component mechanical part from concept to fully detailed, production-ready files. The assembly features numerous moving pieces and tight tolerance interfaces, so every part must be built parametrically, properly mated, and clearly documented.
Once we kick off, I will share all functional requirements, material preferences, and critical dimensions. From there I expect you to develop the 3D parts, assemble them, verify clearances, and prepare manufacturing drawings that a machine shop can use without extra interpretation. Native SolidWorks 2021+ is preferred so I can review and make minor edits later.
Deliverables:
• Native .sldprt and .sldasm files, fully constrained
• 2D fabrication drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and call-outs (PDF + DWG)
• Exploded view renders and a concise BOM for purchasing
• STEP/IGES exports for cross-platform sharing
If you use Simulation or Motion studies to confirm strength and kinematics, that will be a plus and should be included in the package. Please let me know your estimated turnaround, any similar projects you have completed, and which SolidWorks version you will use.
Additionally, I require the design of a truck tipper (dump truck) bed with the following specifications:
• Capacity: 22 cubic meters
• Payload capacity: 35 tons
• Heavy-duty design suitable for intensive industrial and construction use
• Optimized structural reinforcement to handle high loads and dynamic stress during tipping operations
The design should include full 3D modeling, structural considerations, and manufacturing-ready drawings compatible with the main SolidWorks project.
