I need a conceptual machine design that automates the pick-and-drop movement of formed steel profile sheets between processing stations. The goal is simple: significantly raise our line’s productivity, so every decision—from mechanism selection to control strategy—must shorten cycle time without compromising reliability.

Only the unloading stages are in scope; internal transportation, sorting, or stacking will be handled elsewhere. The concept should show how each sheet is gripped, lifted, positioned, and released with repeatable accuracy. Vacuum cups, magnetic heads, or mechanical clamps are all fair game as long as they cope with oily surfaces and variable sheet sizes.

Deliverables
• Layout drawings (2D or 3D) that set the machine footprint against the existing line.
• A concise design brief detailing the working principle, cycle-time estimate, preliminary load calculations, and a concept-level bill of materials.
• Native CAD files in SolidWorks, Inventor, or a comparable platform, plus STEP/PDF exports for review.
