Coastal Revetment Design Engineering Needed

Job ID: 40407060

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

I have a shoreline stretch that is steadily eroding and I need a full revetment design— modelling right through to construction-ready drawings— built around rock armour. The structure will function as a seawall whose sole purpose is erosion control, so hydraulic stability, overtopping limits, and toe scour resistance are critical.

Here is the scope I would like you to cover:

• Numerical and/or physical modelling of near-shore wave climate to size armour units and filter layers.
• Conceptual and detailed cross-sections, including crest elevation, slope geometry, toe protection and geotextile layout.
• Bill of quantities and gradation specifications for primary, secondary and core rock, with clear acceptance ranges.
• CAD drawings (DWG and PDF) that a contractor can build from, plus a concise design note outlining assumptions, standards followed (BS 6349, CIRIA C683, or similar) and factor-of-safety checks.

I am comfortable with you using your preferred tools—MIKE 21, SWAN, SMS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.—as long as results are traceable. Please indicate how quickly you can start, what data you still need from my side (bathymetry, wave buoy records, geotechnical logs) and an expected timeline for each of the above deliverables.
