COMSOL Multiphysics simulation of digital microfluidics droplet motion
Budget: $100 – $700 USD
I want to model droplet actuation in an open digital microfluidic device configuration. I want to have droplet to move from one electrode to another one due to body forces (Maxwell Stress Tensor forces). I want the model to be constructed using COMSOL. Basically, the water droplet should be moved due to forces from an electric field created from an actuated electrode beneath the droplet. These forces are called Maxwell stress tensor forces. It will be a 3D model. I will attach a file with the expected geometry. Note: the dielectric layer is optional (I don't know if it is needed or not). I just want droplet motion in straight line due to Maxwell stress tensor electrical forces.
