CNC Sculpture G-code File
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have an artistic sculpture that needs to be carved on my CNC router and I already know the exact height, width, and depth in centimetres (I will share those figures as soon as we start). What I’m missing is a clean, production-ready G-code program—saved either as a .tap file or directly in .stl for my post-processor—that I can load, simulate, and cut without further tweaking.
The task is straightforward: take—or create—the 3D geometry, generate accurate tool-paths, and output a single file that the machine will run smoothly from zero to finish. I’ll tell you the bit sizes, spindle speed limits, and any step-over preferences once we agree to proceed, so you can optimise feeds, speeds, and roughing/finishing strategies from the outset.
Deliverables
• Final G-code in .tap (preferred) or an .stl prepared for post-processing
• A quick preview render or simulation screenshot that shows the full carve and confirms there are no gouges, Z-axis over-travels, or missed pockets
• A brief note of the key settings used (tool diameter, max depth per pass, safe Z), just so I can verify everything matches my setup
