CNC Programming & Fixture Design Specialist
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Job Description:
I am looking for an experienced machinist or mechanical designer to assist with fixture design and CNC programming for machining a silica composite component. The project will involve the following:
1. Fixture Design:
• I will provide a STEP file of the component that needs to be machined.
• I will also provide a 3D scan (STL file) of the raw material to ensure the fixture design accommodates the material’s dimensions.
• The fixture must be reusable for components and designed to be cost-effective and durable
2. CNC Programming:
• The CNC programming should be optimized for milling operations on a 3-Axis VMC.
• The machining tool will be a diamond-coated ball nose cutter.
• The programming needs to achieve the desired final dimensions as per the provided STEP file and fixture design.
Material:
• The material being machined is a silica composite.
Additional Information:
• If I am satisfied with the fixture and programming, I will require the same services for 33 additional components of the same type.
• The fixture must be easy to set up and efficient for multiple uses.
Deliverables:
• 3D CAD files for the fixture design (in STEP or similar format).
• CNC machining code (G-code) for the 3-Axis VMC.
