Build an 3D autocad design structure of a skeleton of a Robot sculpture of 6 feet height
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
The structure will be made from mild steel pipes to give it the strength and agility needed to withstand the sculpture. As a metal sculptor, I will be welding various machine parts onto the sculpture, which will result in an increase in weight. As such, it is essential that the internal structures of the robot body are designed with both strength and weight in mind.
• I am looking for a design that can support the weight of the sculpture without compromising on the agility and aesthetic look of the robot.
• I am looking for a design which can put up all the body parts in proper proportion with dimensions in it.
• the robot body will be made from mild steel pipes to provide strength and agility to withstand the weight of the sculpture. The robot will also be holding a mailbox in its right hand. The mailbox will be placed at a height of 41 to 42 inches above the ground level.
• The standing pose of the robot can be seen and referred from the ‘image number- 0’
• The proportion and dimensions of each body part can be referred from the ‘image number- 1’
• Also design a base plate for the bottom area where the sculpture will be standing and need to fit on it in order to balance the sculpture. The base plate need not to be big, as this sculpture needs to be packed and transported to other location, hence it should be a space saving thing while packing at the same time not to compromise on its balance and agility.
• The design of the supporting structure can be made like the ones used in the making of any bike chassis. Kindly find a reference image of a chassis in the attachment just to get an idea.
• The size and thickness of the material required in the making of this structure also needs to be shared.
