Build a Scale Model of an Existing Solar Trailer Product
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I am looking for a skilled freelancer to build a scaled down, table-top model of a solar powered utility trailer. This would be an approximately 1/8 scale model of a key product that we manufacture. This scale model would enable us to display the product in our booth at industry trade shows, without the expense of bringing in the full size version. It would need to match the actual full size product as closely as possible. The mast would need to be telescoping, tires would need to rotate, the solar panels pivot, operational wind turbine and the stabilization arms should extend from the trailier. Design Requirements:
- The client has a specific design in mind for the model.
Materials:
- The model could be made mostly of metal, but also plastic and rubber
- Many parts could be 3D printed from a polymer or ABS material supply.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in building models of products, particularly in the electronics industry, is ideal.
- Proficiency in working with metal materials is required.
- Many parts would likely need to be designed and then 3D printed
- Metal parts may need to be powder coated, other parts will be painted with enamel.
Project would also include a fitted travel case that is "airline compatible", such as a Pelican or an Anvil case. It could be partially disassembled to fit into the case.
We may exercise the option to build a second model, based of the price.
